Hello. Here's a bit about me in no particular order: My interests are broad and deep--I have a voracious appetite for the curious and unique. I am passionate about learning and research, often spending hours lost in the process. I write poetry, essays, travel pieces, reviews, grants, proposals, and business collateral such as case statements, development plans, web copy, bios, etc. If it needs to be written, I can write it!
In November 2005, I participated in National Novel Writing Month and completed a 50,000 word novel called "Natalie Unplugged." Perhaps strange to some, I have yet to read it.

What I Do
I am a consultant and writer for a variety of nonprofit organizations, individuals, and businesses as well as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for a private university. I write a regular column for a delightful online journal called All Things Girl.
I was graduated with high honors in English from Portland State University. Following graduation, I packed up my house and my pets and moved back to San Diego to be close to family. Prior to my work as a consultant and writer, I worked in the fashion industry (management, sales, marketing, and visual display).
My other areas of interest, in a non-exhaustive list, are: literacy, social media, personal finance; cooking, organic gardening, herbalism; Permaculture, small space living, architecture, and design; sustainability, travel, music, art, creating new and renewed connections, and advocacy for the freelance lifestyle.
