Trenholm Writing & Consulting

Who are you? What do you write? Are you an expert?

Wow, fantastic questions, thanks for asking. Here are a few bits about me in no particular order: I have a diverse set of interests and a voracious appetite for the curious and unique. I am passionate about research and often spend hours lost in the process. I write poetry, essays, travel pieces, creative non-fiction, grants, proposals, and business writing such as web copy and collateral material.

In November 2005, I participated in National Novel Writing Month and completed a 50,000 word novel called "Natalie Unplugged." I have yet to read it.

I am a consultant and writer for a variety of nonprofit organizations, individuals, and businesses. I also write a bimonthly column called Woman in Transition for a wonderful online magazine called  All Things Girl.

I received a Bachelor's degree with high honors in English from Portland State University and then promptly sold my home and moved back to San Diego. Prior to that, I worked for several years in management, sales, marketing, and visual display--with the fashion merchandising degree to add legitimacy to my toils (and perhaps one of the reasons for my snappy sense of style).

My other areas of interest, in a non-exhaustive list, are: literacy, social advocacy, investing; cooking, organic gardening, herbalism; Permaculture, small space living, sustainability; travel, music, art, and new paradigms of work and the freelance lifestyle.

If you are looking for a writer with a quick wit and a sharp vocabulary, who will approach your writing or editing project with sincere interest and professionalism, then perhaps I'm the writer you've been looking for.

Let's discuss your project and let me offer ways I can make your prose sing, your copy sell, and your collateral material persuade. You can contact me right here.
